  16. 1.  Read the file “License Agreement”. Understand that you may give copies of this whole package, as you received it, to other people, but you may not distribute Registration Information provided to you by HSD when you register.

  18. 2.  In the folder “Essential Strips ƒ”, find the files “Essential Alias™”, “Essential Copy™”, and “Essential Move™”. Copy these to your “Control Strip Modules” folder in your system folder. Restart your computer. Unless you have previously registered Essential Strips, you will have 10 minutes of use after restart. Until you register Essential Strips, the modules will time out 10 minutes after each time you restart your computer.

  20. 3.  Use balloon help to help you identify each module or use the following visual clues. Essential Alias has a single light arrow pointing down into a folder. Essential Copy has two dark arrows pointing down into a folder. Essential Move has a single dark arrow pointing down into a folder. If you are not a registered user, balloon help will also tell you how much time remains before each module times out.

  22. 4.  Click on any of the three modules and select the “Help…” menu item from the menu that pops up.

  24. 5.  Read the file “Essential Strips™ 2/95 Tutorial” to learn how to use all of the neat features.

  26. 6.  Register Essential Strips. It costs just $24.95 and entitles you to free online upgrades for the life of the product. As Essential Strips 2/95 is being released, there are already three more modules in the works, with release expected by April, 1995. See the file “Ordering Information” for ordering information. When you order, be sure and tell us how or where you found Essential Strips.
